Covered Buttons

 

These covered buttons are like Dorset Buttons only they are made on a template instead of a ring. They are gathered around a regular button, but I imagine you could use a ring just as easily. The tutorial for making these is on Kate Davies' website:

Just For Fun

Here is a funky bracelet made out of crocheted T-shirt yarn

and a large button.

The crocheted chain is about thirty six inches long

and wraps around the

wrist,

head 

neck!

It takes about five minutes to make something fun.

 Maybe that could be a challenge project.
