Some friends of mine are taking a class in Nuno Felting, and requested that I share some of my Nuno experiments with them. And so, as usual, I got to thinking and messing about and made the piece pictured above. It is made with prefelts--a carded background and then bits of a silk scarf, prefelted and cut out--the whole felted onto a piece of wool sweater. Last night, I did some hand stitching on it with wool needlepoint yarns, but I don't have a photo of that yet as I want to do more stitching. I think I will felt the stitching into the piece.
