And More Spinning

So why not try spinning paper.
I have been saving all the tissue that comes in packages from
Camp Verde Store.
I folded the tissue, put it through my shredder
and core spun it around a base yarn.
It would have been better if the yarn had been tan.
I don't like seeing those white places in the yarn,
but I will just spray them with a little walnut ink.
I crocheted the results of my first try.
One sheet of tissue made enough to start this
 "object"
which is about three inches square
Where am I going with this?
I haven't a clue.

I can not believe I had not seen your last three posts... And I see what I missed.
Wonderful work. The yarns are such a wonderful treat to see. How do they feel?
The photographs are wonderful and so, dare I say, cute!
This post with the camp Verde Paper is so wonderful with the letters showing through. I love love letters and I think this works very well. This is fun to look at and interesting to look at more than once. I am thinking of your chair piece and the letters, same thing with that one.
I knew you would get your mojo back. I am so glad to see that you feel well enough to do this great work.

It looks great. How is it to work with? Did it come out very strong or delicate?

It is quite sturdy. I don't know what would happen if it got wet!
