Fishnet Anklet

My daughter Bonnie suggested I try this pattern,
http://purlbee.squarespace.com/the-purl-bee/2010/4/22/whits-knits-fishnet-anklets.html
with some of the new cotton yarn I ordered. After many stop and starts
in yet another color yarn, I finally got the hang of it and I believe
it is the easiest and quickest sock I ever made. I plan to make one in
each of the three colors and then I will go back and make
the matching sock for all three.

Fun! Will check it out -- is it super-stretchy? Maybe I should go reread your post, you might've said! ;)Thanks for the link. xx

Very stretchy. Check out my Ravelry page (saradise)for the notes. I think it would make a good tube scarf as well--just leave off the heel and toe!

How do they feel on? I saw that quite a few 'ravelers' had made a stockinette sole for this project (with varied success at keeping the diagonal of the netting) and I was interested to know if you found them comfortable as is.

I have just tried on the one finished sock and it seemed fine to me. I also read that about using a stockinette sole, but the comment I read said never, never do that because it kept the sock from twisting properly!
